Since co-founding SEWAK in 1995, Mr. Amiya Kanta Naik has been a driving force behind the organization’s remarkable growth and success. Renowned for his visionary leadership, he has guided SEWAK through complex challenges, ensuring its evolution into a prominent NGO operating across 8 districts of Odisha. A recipient of the esteemed State-Level Best Youth Award, Mr. Naik’s influence extends beyond SEWAK as he actively represents the organization in key district, state and national-level networks and committees. His unwavering commitment to community development continues to inspire impactful change.

With over 30 years of distinguished experience in the development sector, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Brahma is a visionary leader specializing in organizational development, strategic planning, livelihood promotion, natural resource management, child protection, maternal and child health, and HIV/AIDS programs. As a champion of creativity and innovation, he has been instrumental in shaping SEWAK’s mission and driving impactful change across communities. Mr. Brahma has successfully established robust program monitoring systems and implemented effective project strategies that ensure sustainability and measurable outcomes. His expertise in networking and fundraising has significantly strengthened SEWAK’s capacity to deliver transformative initiatives, making him a cornerstone of the organization’s success.

Mr. Nilambar Upadhyay is a results-driven finance professional with over 28 years of extensive experience. He has an in-depth understanding of the legal and financial frameworks required for Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). In addition to overseeing finance, he also manages HR operations at SEWAK. Mr. Upadhyay has been instrumental in strengthening and digitalizing the organization’s HR and financial systems. His contributions include implementing staff insurance schemes, internal audit systems, personal security measures, and donor reporting mechanisms, as well as developing various operational manuals.

With an illustrious career spanning 30 years in the development sector, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise across diverse roles and organizations. Mr. Tripathy has successfully contributed to various national-level NGOs, international donor agencies, bilateral organizations, government departments, and corporate entities. His remarkable portfolio includes managing programs in collaboration with renowned organizations such as Plan International, DFID, USAID, OFDA, UNICEF, the Clinton Foundation, CII, and Tata Steel. He also worked with JICA, CRS, CARE, Lepra, J.K. Paper, Habitat for Humanity India, and Aarvee Associates Pvt. Ltd. His extensive international experience encompasses impactful work in Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Nepal. A recognized expert in poverty analysis and strategic planning for marginalized communities and minorities, Mr. Tripathy specializes in community-based disaster preparedness. His skill set includes fostering partnerships, developing innovative models, mentoring professionals, and implementing participatory planning, monitoring, and evaluation methodologies. Mr. Tripathy’s steadfast commitment to excellence and his multifaceted expertise continue to make a deep impact on the organizations he serves and the communities he supports.

Digambar Upadhyay serves as SEWAK’s Director – Programmes, spearheading the organization’s Monitoring & Evaluation initiatives. With 29 years of dedicated service, he has significantly contributed to SEWAK’s diverse projects in livelihoods, natural resource management (NRM), and climate change. His expertise in project oversight and impact assessment ensures that SEWAK’s programs are both effective and aligned with the organization’s mission. Renowned for his proficiency in case study development, article writing, and fostering media relationships, Digambar Upadhyay plays a pivotal role in amplifying SEWAK’s outreach and impact.

With more than 35 years of experience in the development sector, Mr. Chakradhar Pruseth brings extensive knowledge in livelihoods, agriculture, horticulture, and animal resources management. He is an exceptional community mobilizer, coordinator, and supervisor. Mr. Pruseth has played a vital role in expanding SEWAK’s livelihood programs both horizontally and vertically. Under his leadership, the organization is now working with over 20,000 farmers, 10 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and 650 Self-Help Groups (SHGs). He is also recognized as a skilled resource person in his areas of expertise.

Sanju Patel’s unwavering commitment to public health has been instrumental in improving health outcomes and raising nutritional awareness among the communities served by the organization. With extensive knowledge and experience in mother and child health, adolescent health, HIV/AIDS, TB, and the management of creches, she has played a pivotal role in designing and implementing impactful health initiatives. Her leadership has not only strengthened healthcare delivery systems but also empowered communities through capacity-building programs and innovative health interventions.

Since 2014, Mrs. Naik has been playing a pivotal role in ensuring the organization’s communication and documentation processes are seamless and effective. Her responsibilities include creating and managing accurate records, maintaining documentation standards, and overseeing the development of user manuals, reports, and compliance documents. She excels in facilitating both internal and external communication, all while ensuring alignment with the organization’s brand and values. Additionally, Snehalata collaborates across departments, provides training on documentation best practices, and bridges communication gaps to foster transparency and efficiency. With her expertise in technical writing and crisis communication, she has consistently contributed to enhancing the organization’s operational clarity and stakeholder relationships.

Ghateswar Chhura has been serving as an IT Expert at SEWAK for the past two years, contributing significantly to the organization’s technological growth and efficiency. He is responsible for managing and maintaining SEWAK’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and networks. Ghateswar specializes in troubleshooting technical issues, implementing robust cybersecurity measures, and developing data backup and recovery systems to safeguard critical information. With a strong focus on innovation, he identifies opportunities to optimize processes and enhance efficiency through technology. His dedication to aligning IT solutions with SEWAK’s mission has been instrumental in driving digital transformation and supporting the organization’s operational success.
